As a young woman, a mentor had said that to be able to love another once must first love oneself. It was not meant as an ego boost but a serious look into what it means to love and how to be able to love another person. I have spent a better part of my life learning to love myself so that I could love others. It is my nature to be nonjudgmental and to be empathetic to those who hurt deeply. I believe that once you are awake to the possibility of enlightenment there is no going back. It isn`t easy, but it`s a wonderful experience.
As to who I am, I am a writer and I love to read, all kinds of subjects and genres. I am adventuresome, playful, and like to explore new and old. I like movies, concerts, dining out or in, bicycling, hiking and exploring in the mountains is my favorite outdoor activity. I`m not big on TV, but I do have some favorites. I have an eclectic taste in music, from classical, jazz, to new age. I like good conversations as a means to get to know someone and exchange ideas, share our life journey to wisdom. I believe that relationships begin in friendship, chemistry is the desire to know one another, and the rest is up to what we truly desire.
